You are welcome! I am astonished at how many people want to argue about this. It is insane to regard the children of our soldiers as anything other than "natural citizens". Their parents are out there sacrificing for us, so how dare we challenge their loyalty?
John McCain's father was an Admiral in our armed forces sent to Panama to SERVE THE NATION. It is disgusting to think that some would reject his son as insufficiently loyal, or insufficiently American to be President.
Then color me disgusting.

Loyalty is beside the point. The Panama Canal Zone was leased by the U.S.Government from Panama and deemed by our government as “unincorporated territory” over which the U.S.Congress had jurisdiction and not the U.S.Constitution.
Children born to U.S. citizens in the Canal Zone were to be considered U.S. citizens, but as it wasn’t U.S. soil, they weren’t NBC. Same goes for U.S. citizens born in Puerto Rico, also an “unincorporated territory”, where the folks are U.S. citizens but not NBC and therefore ineligible to be President.
Arizona, for example, was considered an “organized incorporated territory”, a part of the U.S. by extesnion. So Barry Goldwater’s birth there as to U.S. citizen parents made him an NBC.

I don’t make the laws, so don’t get angry at me.
