You keep using the same FLAWED assumption that ‘citizen at birth’ equates to ‘natural born citizen’.

Are you a constitutional scholar and lawyer or did you stay at a Holiday Inn Epress? Until the courts decide on the definition of "natural born citizen," we are left with reality. Under your defintion or belief, neither Obama or McCain was eligible to run for the Presidency. Or Barry Goldwater or Charles Curtis. The reality is that Obama is in the WH. Until the courts decide that he is ineligible to serve, Obama will finish out this term and run for another.

Your FLAW is that you want reality to conform to what you believe it should be. I will say it over and over. This must be resolved in the courts sooner rather than later. We have 300,000 to 400,000 anchor babies born each year to illegal alien parents. There are 40 million foreign born in this country now--one out of every 8 residents. By 2050, one out of five will be foreign born. There is some urgency about this issue.

LOL

The SCOTUS HAS already construed the term, and it is EXACTLY that which I have given you.

I believe it's you who are interpreting things the way you would like to see them.

It's funny that you bring up the issue of anchor babies. Anchor babies are given citizenship based on the SCOTUS's determination of the 'jurisdiction clause' of the 14th Amendment. Care to read a quote from John Bingham, the father of the 14th Amendment? Sound familiar?

I find no fault with the introductory clause, which is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural-born citizen;

Read the words of Thomas Paine, a Founding Father, who wrote about the Article II "natural born" clause in the link that I posted to you earlier.

You'll find the plain-meaning as it was undestood by the Founders and Framers as of 1791.

The reality is that Obama is in the WH.

The fact is water is wet and exists in 4 states, noe of which has anything to do with the argument. You daughter is not eligible to be President of the United States, but cheer up because at the rate it is going she can be citizen of the world. How cool is that?
