Vermont isn’t a very big state. With horizontal drilling, an oil company can put a rig just over the state line and still drill Vermont’s resources...without Vermont getting a penny of revenue.
Assuming Vermont has anything worth fracking to begin with.
I'd invest in ANY company that advertised doing this.
“With horizontal drilling, an oil company can put a rig just over the state line and still drill Vermonts resources...without Vermont getting a penny of revenue.”
Call in the Burns Slant Drilling Co. to drink Vermont’s milkshake.
“I DRINK YOUR MEEEEELKSHAKE!!!!!!”
As someone who love the beauty of Vermont, I have to say if someone came up with an engine powered by MARBLE, maybe they (Vermonters) should be worried.
I should say, non-native VERMONTERS, because most of the native Vermonters moved to New Hampshirwe. Most the the people who call themselves Vermonters are people who moved to Vermont from New York City and bought their LIBERAL BS with them.
True story, a few years ago (before I moved to FL), I was vacationing with my wife and kids. I had a Ford Excursion and I pulled into a gas station to buy gas. The owner was mad at my car (he saw my lincense plate from CT), so he thought I was one of these out of state people who buy land for LIBERAL CAUSES, until he saw my BUSH 2000 bumper sticker. He told me that he thought I was an non-native who wants Vermont to be 'PERFECT' for tourists.
Truthfully, if you visit some of the towns like Wilmington and Jacksonville you'll see CONSERVATIVE people. Unfortunatly it is the 'cities' like Burlington, Barre, Brattleboro and Bennington that causes peroblems for the true VERMONTERS.
