I met Father Weslin only a few years ago. The sense of being in a holy presence was palpable. His companion explained that Father Weslin suffered much of his life from injuries he got from police. While handcuffed, he was knocked down some stairs, subsequently lifted by his elbows and carried off. He was given no medical care, and suffered constantly the rest of his life from the injuries. Likely candidate for sainthood.

Saint recognition is a ceremonial formality of certain parts of the church, but it seems to me from the way this pastor lived the call of his faith, there’s no need for questioning. He’s a believer and he’s there in heaven now.
