Oh, sorry, I misread it. But actually I do think he was profiled for wearing a hoodie. Here in the urban jungle of NYC, we associate the wearing of hoodies with criminality (as do the police). To more rural and suburban people, it’s just a sweatshirt with a hood.
It was raining. It wouldn’t look suspicious to anyone to see someone wearing a hood in the rain. What would look suspicious is seeing a guy meandering around the streets and walking between buildings in the rain.
That’s not profiling.
Unless you're wearing it when it's 80 degrees outside.
