At Zimmerman’s bond hearing, Judge Lester asked only one question. As Corey’s lead detective Dale Gilbreath was about to leave the stand, Lester asked him how close the two were when the gun fired. Gilbreath answered “Close” and noted the presence of gun powder residue and stippling on Martin’s skin.
Thanks, I didn’t know that. It certainly can’t hurt Z’s case if the wound was located on Martin’s left side and the wound was contact or close to contact. That would indicate that Martin was within arm’s length and possibly on top of Z.
