I doubt highly anyone except for Fauxcahontas will be running.
IMO its too late for any of the replacements mentioned that are state or city office holders to get a federal campaign together. As for Congressmen, they had their chance to line up against Brown months ago and passed. They could use their campaign acct to run but I doubt it.

As for Deval, here are the reasons I don’t see him running:

1.No federal campaign listed with FEC.
2.I think he’s holding out for an appointment in 2nd Obama admin if there is one.
3. He’s won govship with less than 50% of votes twice. Not a ringing endorsement from MA voting populace.
4. He’s lazy. He’s planning on spending vast majority of summer at his “shack” out in the Berkshires.Spend his summer
stuck with the hoi polloi at campaign events in Everett, Fall River,or Fitchburg? Perish the thought.

Hope you’re right. If so, things look about as good as they could be.

Deval is the only Dem who could beat Scott Brown.

Add another thing: Brown could rake him over the coals in a state-wide for the whole EBT thing. Like Giggidy said, Coupe never received more than 50% of the vote, and if it weren’t for frigging Cahill, he’d probably not be governor today.
