Don't laugh, this is the intellectual argument that all Democrats are using to justify same-sex marriage as equality. It is the only argument that fits.

The thing that bothers me is with all the left-right debates on this disagreement the past two years I see no Republicans challenging this premise in an effective way to be used politically. If this premise is generally believed as true (as libs claim it is ) then Republicans have lost the battle and it's just time before , you-know-what.

Debate : Are people really defined (and controlled) first by their sexual desires such that it requires new civil rights? That is the argument I would like to see Republicans refute but don't. (this is the liberal version of a 'soul': sexual desires.

By this new gay logic, infants born with Down Syndrome are also a 'race' - - as are schizophrenics.

Also it's NOT 10% - more like 2 to 4%... Gay and vegetarians are similar in that all they want to talk about is their 'condition'... I am so tired of their 'issues'... they're such a yawn.

I worked for a hetero-hating uber-butch dyke a few years ago. It used it's sexual choice as a shield for EVERYTHING, as it was incompetent at everything from managing people to pouring a glass of water. This life form absolutely thought it was a separate race and was very vocal in admitting it. It thought it was a species that needed legal protections.

p.s. I quit that job without having another one lined up as I could not stand being anywhere near that freak.
