Anyway, only whites can be guilty of hate crimes. Zimmerman is part black. How can he be guilty of a hate crime against another black person?
The only profiling Zimmerman did was to notice that this person, whose race he wasn't aware of at the time, was acting like someone casing an empty residence to burglarize it. The idea that racial profiling was involved was created by ABC's mendacious editing of the dispatcher tape, and by Martin's girlfriend's reconstruction of their conversation days after the event.
Having the FBI involved increases Obama's ability to exploit this politically, it seems to me. It's now a federal case.
How could a man, who has stood up for and defended Blacks in the past, has a partially black racial background, and who has appeared genuinely sorry that Trayvon is dead, be considered guilty of a hate crime? I am so tired of the truths of this case being swept under the rug while the lies, hatred and animosity are being encouraged by the Liberal media, Democrat politicians, and anti-White prejudiced groups.

I realize stalking actually is a crime, though he’s not charged with it. They have a rather loose definition of stalking in this case, as it apparently is no different than following. But do you notice how they slipped “profiled” in there, as if profiling is in itself bad? Since when can’t private citizens profile eachother?
I realize it’s supposed to be bad for cops to profile. But first of all it’s not, and they very well couldn’t do their jobs without it. What’s bad is when they violate rights by stopping, searching, arresting, etc. without probable cause on the basis of profiling alone. But then, as you’ll notice, the bad thing is not profiling, but warrantless search seizure, arrest, etc.
Now, police forces may make rules against profiling in the interest of curtailing warrantless whatevers, but that’s a bureaucratic thing. And anyway, it has nothing to do with the professionalism of your average Nightwatch Joe, mostly because he’s not a professional. It also has nothing to do with the law, which is what we’re supposed to be concerned about here.

The Justice Department under Holder would have to prosecute the alleged hate crime and I would think Holder would have to sign off on the charge when the FBI concludes its investigation. The investigation is for politically correct reasons to placate a certain constituency. However, any prosecution pressed by Holder for a hate crime is going to wreak havoc with white independents and bluedog Dems and white working class Dems not to mention hispanics. I do not think Obama is stupid enough to unleash the junkyard dog he has running Justice on this one. But then again he is the same guy who was going to try Khalid Mohammed in NY...

Can the FBI actually charge somone with a crime? Don’t they have to investigate and turn the affair over to the DOJ? Perhaps this is just a technicality, but technicalities are big in cases like these.

If it was an elderly black man, or a black woman of any age, walking through the Zimmerman’s community there most likely would not have been any confrontation at all.
If the FBI charges Zimmerman, Obama will get less than 40% of the vote. This was only self-defense. If the FBI gets involved in this, people will see clearly whatn is going on and Obama is done.
Interesting. I’ve read that there were more than a few burglaries, etc in the neighborhood prior to this event with black males found to be the perps. So, he’s on patrol and a black male is hanging around, etc. How can that possibly be a hate crime, given the criminal history in the neighborhood?
