There is no reason to consider Romney an ideological leftist or to expect him to pursue leftist policies as President.
If there is a GOP Congress and a conservative grassroots movement demanding conservative solutions to our nation's problems then we can likely expect Romney to go along.
There is no evidence anywhere that suggests he will do otherwise.

And if he wants to push his Romneycare (or anything else) on us there is no indication that the GOP in congress won't go along due to pressure to agree with one of their own.
In essence there will be no opposition party if Mitt is not as you are trying to promise. And evidence is against you to date whether you like it or not.
Sorry I can only celebrate a Romney victory a few ticks more than I can celebrate an Obama defeat.
