You just wrote either the most ignorant or dishonest post I’ve ever seen on FR. Most of FOX News, Drudge, Coulter, The Washington Times, many “conservative” radio hosts, and the establishment Republican elites were in the tank for Romney from Day Zero and pushed and promoted him relentlessly. ROMNEY is the one who ran a smear campaign which CONSTANTLY accused the other candidates of the very things Romney was guilty of, namely having a history of liberal positions such as being pro-choice and pro-homosexual-agenda.
Bottom line, Romney simply could not have won his narrow plurality victories in most states without outspending his opponents as much as 20-to-1. He is a Wall Street insider, the most liberal Republican governor ever, and he bought the nomination with lies and smears.
He’s also a political dimwit who doesn’t understand the base or conservative ideology at all. The only reason he was successful in business is because the owner of Bain said he was very handsome and was a good salesman, and obviously wanted to hire him due to his being from a powerful political family.
Republican elites can’t make a person win. What you said about Fox News and Radio talk show hosts is completely off, cause I watched and listened and saw for myself. If you are off about that, then that means you are the one who is misinformed. What’s this balony about the Republican Elite? What is this, some strategy about divide and conquer? I think Romney had an uphill battle to win the nomination. I saw him fighting really hard for it, I didn’t see anyone hand him anything. That’s just a bunch of propoganda for people who can’t bear to admit the truth that Romney is really tough. There is nothing to back up what you say, other then the fact that it has been used as a brainwashing mantra. I didn’t see anyone bending over backwards for Romney, but I did see a 4 year smear campaign trying to destroy Romney. And it didn’t work. Romney survived the propoganda smear tactics, cause he’s strong. That’s why he is has been very successful in business. No one handed Romney anything. Fox News was very biased against Romney, the whole time to the point where they were unwatchable to those who liked Romney. They have only recently backed off cause they had mud on their faces for trying to stop him. Romney is as tough as nails, and that’s why Obama’s mask is coming off. He can’t do that stupid hope and change schtick now that he has a real oppoenent. Now Obama’s mask is finally coming off cause he has a real opponenet, ,for the first time. No one else has forced Obama to take off his mask. And you can thank Romney.
