This may make his supporters become even nuttier and more vocal.

But the Ron Paul kool-aid drinkers at the Hill.com still think by some wizardry he's going to steal the convention from Romney. They don't seem to understand what I realized sometime around the first primary, that the Pro-Romney establishment has controlled the entire nominating process from the beginning and Paul (or any other candidate) would have had better chance of “stealing” the party nomination from the Communist candidate in the old Soviet Union as they do stealing anything from Romney. The establishment can and will change what ever rule they need if it ensures a Romney victory.

He said that’s a way to make his voice heard at the nominating convention in Tampa, Fla., in August

Not a fan of either, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. If "making his voice heard" means holding Romney's feet to the low-tax, lesser-government fire, then some good will come of it.

What Ron Paul is doing is working in states where selection national convention delegation slates have no connection to primaries or caucuses, and subverting the process by taking over county, congressional district, and state conventions and ramming thru Ronulan delegates. Just as they’ve done in Iowa. The delegate slate to be resented for ratification by the state convention has absolutely no correlation to caucus results - and it’s all been done “by the book”. Every other campaign has been asleep at the wheel - and are reaping whats been sown.

Well... That's it then. Our Country is screwed. My only hope for Paul was for him to win enough votes to throw the whole thing to a convention where we could try to get someone OTHER THAN either Paul or Romney.

Romney or Zero.

Death by fire ants or death by anal rape.

Not much of a choice there.

Best I can tell none of you get it. Ron Paul never been about Ron Paul. It has always been about taking back the Republican party from the corrupt establishment that gives us Romney’s and McCain’s, and what is coming is going to knock a bunch of you on your keisters.

And why is Dr. Ron Paul fighting this fight? Because he is the one candidate that truly loves his country.

Game over.

Either on the 22nd of this month, or on the 29th when Texas votes, Romney will clear the 1,144 delegate count threshold and have the delegates to assure his nomination.

I was for Sarah 1st, then Cain, the Santorum, and then Newt. I do not trust Romney's liberal record from a "purest" conservative standpoint.

But when I look at the issues/platform he has established to run on and been committing to these last many months, it is a good platform, and something we can hold him to as opposed to the wretched Obama who is promising more "fundamental change" and destruction to America...in fact, he will double down on it in a second term.

That makes my choice in the contest between Obama and Romney clear.

In order to defeat Obama, which we desperately need, Romney will have to continue gaining support, all over the country.

With Obama actions as President, ongoing as they are towards the far left, I believe Romney will...and I hope it is so.
