Franklin Roosevelt famously said, "We have nothing to fear but fear itself."
Romney Republicans are becoming famous for having absolutely nothing to offer but fear itself.
A third party candidate has a zero point zero chance of getting one measly state (out of 57).
Well-meaning people, just like you and me, did not support of Willard in the primaries; however, he is de-facto the GOP winner, and there is no changing that.
If you want to change the nominating process (and I surely do) then let's do that in the off season.
Had it not been for folks wanting to make a statement about Bush 41 (by voting for Perot), then Clinton never would have won. I pleaded PLEADED with conservative friends to think long-term, and tried to tell them that a third party, Perot vote statement would be promptly forgotten.
After Clinton was "elected", EVERY ONE of my Perot buddies, EVERY ONE rued their vote, and wished they had gone for Bush. There were no exceptions.
If you have kids, grandkids, or even hope to some day, think of THEM and forget the third party windmill tilt. Nobody will ever remember (intentional loser) Goode this time, next year, except for the folks that voted for him to the very peril of our fine Republic.
