As for the president's change of heart: "I'm proud of him," said now-Lt. Gov. Newsom. "There's a lot of courage being shown by doing this." So does it not follow that the O was cowardly before? Dishonest? Calculating? Prepared to do and say anything for personal gain?
Because no one believes the first gay president just changed his mind. Not his supporters, not his opponents, no one.
