Actress Betty White is a big fan of President Barack Obama, the AP reports:
As she prepares to visit the Smithsonian Institution and National Zoo next week, White told The Associated Press she "very, very much favors" President Barack Obama in the election.
The 90-year-old actress said Friday she is very bi-partisan and has stayed away from politics all of her life. She usually never says who she is for or against because she doesn't want to turn off any of her adoring fans.
White says in this year's election, she likes what Obama has done and "how he represents us."

Rarely if ever watched it (as I found it pretty unpalatable), but when I first learned that “The Golden Girls” had a big gay cult following, I was a bit dumbstruck. But when I thought about it, it started making sense. The dialogue, which is almost nonstop catty, sarcastic put-downs and sexual innuendos, is just innately faggy. You can just as easily envision all the lines being delivered by drag-queens.

My favorite movie too....I think it’s the greatest movie ever made, IMHO.
Same here. The greatest ever, bar none. It perfectly sizes up the commie problem. And it Robert Bolt screenplay is so good, there is a line apropos of every political situation that ever arises today.
I have seen this film more times than I’d care to tell, and know its every line and nuance by heart.

I actually did laugh at your “literally minutes to go” comment about old bag Betty. I do not know where the hour hand is on my own life span clock, or on yours for that matter, but believe me, those “minutes to go” are as precious to the person on the far side of life as they are to a younger person who probably gives little thought to their own end of life. Lesbo or straight, too bad Betty White has chosen cheap laughs over dignity and clean humor. Equally bad choice is her support of the anti American president Obama who despises the very free market capitalist system that made her so wealthy she can spend her “last minutes” in comfort.
I can remember my mom and dad,a housewife and blue collar worker,with an 8th grade and 9th grade education discussing politics.
My 96yr old mom is so disgusted with the political climate and has said;”She never thought she would live to see the mess this country has become.”
