I once had a boss who was freaking out over some project-related stress (as he often did). At some point amid the chaos and pressure, he stopped, looked at me, tilted his head in puzzlement, and asked "how is it you manage to stay so CALM all the time no matter what's going on?" Response: "I've studied self-defense in detail; when you've thought about how to deal with someone trying to
kill you, everything else pales in comparison."
