Bwahahahahahaha ... thanks, I needed that! Putting an 18 1/2 inch barrel on my Maverick 88 12 ga shotty today. I’ll remember to wrap it in a brown paper bag to take it to the range ... wouldn’t want to scare the neighbors with my AK47 variant assault weapon shotty don’tchaknow.

May I ask where you got the barrel? I just got a Remington 887 that is perfect for birds and clays but could use a shorter barrel for home defense.

Ordered a Mossberg 500 18.5 inch from CheaperThanDirt.com $77 bucks plus shipping with a few short shell mini 12 gauge rounds in Buckshot. Google it, but I think you have to get the 887 barrels from Remington directly.
