Time magazine is out with its latest cover, one thats sure to get its fair share of attention. Headlined Are You Mom Enough?, it features a blonde, skinny jean-wearing woman and a preschool-age boy unmistakably latched on to her breast.
The cover goes with the magazines feature story on attachment parenting a philosophy designed to foster a secure bond to the child. Co-sleeping, or the family bed, and breastfeeding well past babyhood are sometimes the hallmarks of attachment parenting.
The mother pictured on the cover is Jamie Lynne Grumet of Los Angeles and her 3-year-old son.
I dont consider breastfeeding immodest at allIm not shy about doing it in public, she told Time.
Note: go to the site and vote in the poll.
And I pity the woman that ends up married to that boy...
i’d tap it
My sister-in-law’s son clung to her (not breastfeeding but did cling to her) until he was about 7 or 8. He’s 14 now but is a little self-centered namby-pamby who wants everything handed to him. There is a reason birds shove their babies out of the nest early.
Child porn?
On the other hand, a woman living in a tony, ultra-liberal suburb of San Francisco told an interviewer on a radio show that when she fed her babies using a bottle while out on the street, passersby yelled at her, saying that she should be breastfeeding her kids.
>>>Why am I thinking Oreo?
The jingle goes “An ice cold milk...” I doubt milk from the boob is ice cold... however, this woman may be an exception??
But for Time to put it on the cover..is crazy.
Pretty though.
She is a trans racial adopter as well which I know most freepers high five over and call those of us who question it racists.
She seems to epitomize “look at me mommying!!!” which...sorry folks is often what I get from folks around me who adopt black babies on purpose and/or breastfeed rather large 4 year olds on purpose.
But draw your own conclusions.
I say a nutty but pretty shrew-mom-milf
bet my wife has those jeans...
my paternal grandmother breastfed my retarded and very sick aunt as a toddler..3 maybe... in a rural New Mexico workcamp near Artesia is the 20s with milk intended for my then newborn aunt (her younger sister)...that I get and understand but no one put her picture on the Santa Fe front page
this woman is a crusader in boobie milk and her adoption choices
I think Time feels bad about picking on moms and has found a liberal nut who breastfeeds at 4 and adopt non white kids instead of producing more evil world destroying crackers (like me and my 5 spawn)..and that fits their narrative.
never thought I could find anything wrong with breast feeding...I'm all about swollen breasts...i mean wow...it just does something to ya from so many perspectives as an hombre...even an old geezer like me..but this is just weird you know...maybe they are also Game of Thrones writers...anyone else think of that?
It would certainly come close. What if the kid didn’t need the chair?
You are right of course, BUT, she could have aborted him. He will have to sort out his poor bringing up. There is a hell of story behind why that woman did that picture. Boy that woman really hates that kid. She probably named him Sue and ....I don’t want to even imagine.
Ummm ... yeah ....
He's gonna be messed up, big time.
Perversion?
Breastfeeding is absolutely wonderful for your BABY. This kid is not a baby anymore. I feel sorry for him, this pic will follow him around the rest of his life. Would not be suprised if somewhere down the road he ends up haboring deep resentment towards his mother.
How 'bout when psychomom needs the chair? (Eeeeewwwww ....)
My favorite comments from Yahoo:
“You know he’s too old when he texts you, ‘Im hngry’...”
“You know he’s too old when his beard tickles....”
I’ll add that this is NOT biologically normal. Hunter gatherers breast feed up to age 2. After that they get pregnant again.
Maybe I’ll make a run to Dairy Queen.
BRILLIANT!
people...please...cancel this damn rag if you get it....
