FROM THE ARTICLE: Our Lady of Sorrows official said the school had no choice but to forfeit because it has a strict policy prohibiting participation in co-ed athletics.

I would suggest it is who YOU read what you wanted. Try again, and tell me how the above verbatim quote differs from my statement “they are opposed to competition between sexes in any sport.”

When the girl on the other team doesn’t play there’s no competition between the sexes, is there? I am not responsible for your inferences of something not said or written.

The young lady is on the team, therefore they are competing against a coed team. Words mean things.
