I agree with Graham completely and explained the same in dinner conversation last night. Putting words into Jesus' mouth so as to legitimize an abomination in the eyes of God is a fool's play. "Thou Shalt Not Use the Name of the Lord thy God in Vain". Obama has broken one of the big three in front of an audience of millions. I would not want to be him on the day he meets his Maker. I would not want to find myself standing anywhere near Obama between then and now, just in case God feels like voicing his disapproval before that time.

Franklin Graham's statement:

On Tuesday my state of North Carolina became the 31st state to approve a constitutional amendment defining marriage as being between a man and a woman. While the move to pass amendments defining marriage is relatively new, the definition of marriage is 8,000 years old and was defined not by man, but by God Himself.

In changing his position from that of Senator/candidate Obama, President Obama has, in my view, shaken his fist at the same God who created and defined marriage. It grieves me that our president would now affirm same-sex marriage, though I believe it grieves God even more.

The institution of marriage should not be defined by presidents or polls, governors or the media. The definition was set long ago and changing legislation or policy will never change God's definition. This is a sad day for America. May God help us.

I am not so religious but definitely agree with Rev Franklin Graham on this. “Gay marriage” or whatever you want to call this farce is against 5,772 years of Jewish-Christian religion and tradition. It is against 2012 years of Christian religion. It is against thousands of years of our cultural norms.
