As Wednesday sees Barack Obama voice his support for same-sex marriage, this evening "Piers Morgan Tonight" welcomed a host of experts and analysts, celebrities, and journalists, all charged with detailing and debating one of America's most-polarizing social issues.
Joining Piers Morgan live for a face to face discussion, Chad Griffin explained the impact of the president's stance:
"Every single night, LGBT people get in their beds, turn out the light, and instead of closing their eyes, and going to sleep like their friends, and their parents, and their colleagues, they stay awake and stare at the ceiling fearing the next day," revealed the incoming President of the Human Rights Campaign. "What the President of the United States said today the first President of the United States said today is that he cares for them. He is their president, he is standing up for them and he believes that they too are equal under the law. And that is incredibly significant."
Representing the other side of the debate, Bill Donohue took a decidedly different approach to today's news:

Awwwwww. Now how about the polygamists and pedophiles? I’m sure they want “equality” too.
“getting married”
Interesting use of words. Isn’t that what the issue really is, and not really BEING married? I know that very political gays want actual marriage for a variety of reasons, some even admirable after a fashion. But isn’t this all really mostly about gay weddings?
To be be frank, Obama often comes across as effeminate. Take his dainty dancing. Or his gait. They call him a modern day metrosexual. Or asexual, bisexual, whatever it is.
So this is not surprising. For anti-Obama campaigners, weave this into a larger narrative, about degeneracy, about a new morality that infringes upon what many hold dear, and about the scary radicals that constitute the O administration.
Reply 26 - @That's all? In the overall scheme of things I would be rather embarrassed that such a paltry amount came in.
I am wondering what percentage of our population is Gay? I suspect it is around 10 to 15%.
...”Now how about the polygamists and pedophiles? Im sure they want equality too”...
You can be sure they are gearing up. I fear we will be taken over by people who are not so open minded. Just look at the view our prison populations take concerning pedophiles. That gives us a clue as to what might happen if the thin veneer of civilization breaks down.
Historically, it’s been 1-2%.
Certainly the homosexual indoctrination camp (aka “Big Govt Education”) is doing their best to increase the pervert population.
Far less than that. From popular culture one would think that the country is 50% gay, 70% black, and 0% Asian. Reality is far different. I’d be shocked if reputable research could find as much as 5% gay.
1-2% at most.
I agree...1 or 2% tops...they are just LOUD. I don’t know any sodomites; my wife doesn’t know any sodomites...even her hairdresser is hetero, and we’re in New England.

Not sure about the polygamists, but New York has the child porn stuff covered.
“Viewing child pornography online does not constitute possession, court rules”

The joke will be on them if some scientist develops a nano-virus that can within hours convert a homosexual of either sex away from the same sex attraction.
And this virus does that, nothing else, doesn’t cure cancer nor prevents the common cold.
It has no cure nor can it be inoculated against.
Its a nano robotic re-programmer that adapts to each individual.
I am not suggesting its possible, feasible or practical but lets be realistic, what if?
What if a hundred million or more suddenly wake up to their bed partner and see things differently? A better world?
Oh and i hope they toss in a cure for Islamic followers so they suddenly cannot stop consuming pork.

Give me a break: This sob story is pure unadulterated horse dung.Homosexuals may do a lot of thing in their beds at night but staring at the ceiling in fear, isn’t what they are infamous for.
With media magnification it might seem that way but what else have they ever reported that’s true?
Every single night, LGBT people get in their beds, turn out the light, and instead of closing their eyes, and going to sleep like their friends, and their parents, and their colleagues, they stay awake and FEEL SOMETHING GOING WHERE IT DOESN’T BELONG!”
With a closet “Catcher in Chief” the homo community is probably feeling even more brazen than ever.
I expect a lot more sexual intimidation all across the board in America.
Especially since POTUS will defend its actions.
The fags claim it is 3%, the reality is closer to 1%, and if you suspect that is is close to 15%, you are a suspect.
