To be sure there were plenty of leftists in the Jewish immigrants of the late 1800s and early 1900s. But the fact is, they were made to feel unwelcome by the WASP majority. The KKK wasn’t a force in the big northern cities. The Dem Party eagerly lapped up the Jewish vote while the Republicans missed their chance.
LOL, no, the GOP did not drive away the Jews at the beginning, or the middle, or today, or forever, they are devoted democrats, always have been and always will be.
Blacks were devoted republicans until 1936, Jews have never voted republican.
