“he leapt in front of the vehicle.”
And she ran him over and drove off. Yet she’s not at fault?
That’s a stunning lack of appreciation of civic responsibility and the law.
Regardless if she had the right of way (he was in the street) or he had the right of way (he was on a sidewalk or driveway) it is illegal to strike someone with a vehicle and leave the scene, particularly if the person is injured.
You’re also judging this based on her recounting of events whereas the husband is in the hospital, unconscious.
Yes, I agree, if she drove off, it’s a hit and run no matter who was at fault. I guess I missed that part on my first reading.
Still, the guy seems like a moron if he tried to stop a car with his body. That is not a physics problem you want to find the solution to by experimentation.
Ok, thanks for the explanation. I guess that would be the case then.
Never talk about politics or religion is a dumb idea. Truth can only win when brought out and into the public forum of ideas. There is no more important arena for truth to triumph than in politics and religion. People need to grow up and learn how to discuss and even debate important ideas without fighting. Look where this idea of keeping politics and religion out of the public forum has taken our Country. Down the tubes! Satan smiles as we keep quiet.
It's more important to get 19 people to make music together than to spend that time trying to change minds.
Hey, if your good, you can do both! But it takes practice.
Now this, ladies and gentlemen is a gene pool that needs a strong shot of chlorine.
