Santorum endorsed Romney in 2008 in the primary when Romney was running against Huckabee, Thompson and other conservatives.
How can anybody be surprised that Rick would make the same endorsement four years later in the General election when the opponent is Obama?
...and you bring up a good point. Why was Romney an acceptable alternative to McCain in 2008, but not an acceptable alternative to 0bama in 2012?
