Wonder how all the santorum dead-enders will rationalize this. After all, they were the ones so enamored of their "principles" that they would "never ever" vote for Romney. Now, their Dear Leader has turned on the predictable dime. Hmm. We''ll see, won't we.

The same way the Newt dead-enders rationalize his endorsement of Mitt.

“rationalize this.”
Obama MUST BE DEFEATED, or we won’t recognize the U.S.A. in 4 years.
It’s heart breaking that Romney is the nominee, but there are future elections, and we need to slow down the bleeding until then.

I haven’t heard much from ardent Newt supporters since Newt endorsed Romney.
BTW, I’m so glad Free Republic has given us “permission” to express ourselves in this regard.
Isn’t that special!

Santorum did the right thing but that won't matter to the anti Romney cult here, hang on.

The objective has always been to beat obama. Period. I backed Rick Perry and then Rick Santorum to do that...neither lasted for the long haul andd now we're left with Paul and Romney. Of the two I pick Romney. My overriding objective is still to beat obama.
Sorry you refuse to see that.

Santorum supporters weren’t really no mitt, they would loudly no NEWT! So now their votes go to mitt, nothing unexpected here, they were told but didn’t want to listen even though everything pointed to it. They won’t admit they and America were duped.
