"They are afraid of the consequences. "

That seems to be the consensus, but perhaps a false one. If what could be a false premise is repeated enough, enough people will believe it, no?

I say kick the buzzard out and dare anyone to riot. Now that's a meme I can relate to.

I am ready to maintain the peace in my neighborhood and that is all that's required of anyone.

After all, how many residents do you think are needed to police their neighborhood? Not many, I'll bet. Where there's a will and a 12 gauge, there is a way.

Just sign up at the Sheriff's office and get your special deputy badges and a handful of shells. Let's give our Sheriff's the support they need to carry out their duly authorized and constitutional duty to keep the peace.

They will be over-joyed having all the extra help. Plenty of well-qualified veterans to fill the ranks.

So to the rioters, I would say, bring it on and don't forget to BYOBB.

Now, doesn't that sound more hopeful and empowering than the message of fear?

We have had riots over far less. Rodney King comes to mind. And certainly race baiters like Sharpton and Jackson would get involved along with the SEIU and AFL-CIO. The Left would go nuts.
