Introducing common sense on an NBC thread. Better send the wife to start the car for a few days.
You and I can argue the definition of natural born citizen as it applies to eligibility to be President under the Constitution, but we can't resolve it. Only the courts can do that and they have never been presented with this case.
This being an NBC-related thread, I would not be doing my freeper duty to let you escape without some sort of disagreement. So, herewith:
O they have been presented with the case from the state level, to SCOTUS appeal. The courts have run from the issue under cover of procedural, jurisdictional, and standing issues, with even Supreme Court Justices (The Black-Robed Bum-kissin Bassturds) ADMITTING they seek to escape and evade responsibility on the issue upon the dozen or so occasions they have had the properly presented cases to consider it.
It is not only the courts, but the politicians who are afraid to raise the issue. In AZ Russell Pearce led a tough struggle in the AZ legislature to pass a law requiring more definitive proof that future candidates for the Presidency met Constitutional requirements re eligibility in order to appear on the state ballot. Governor Jan Brewer vetoed it. I understand that another attempt will be made based on Arpaio's findings. We will see, but I doubt the ruling elite will allow such challenges. They are afraid of the consequences.
