I would like to see the results of the necropsies before jumping to the conclusion that the deaths were caused by criminal activity.

I don’t know about Texas and ranchers problems with poisonaous weeds, but there are plants here in the Pacific Northwest that can sicken and kill livestock. Those plants are a big problem for cattalemen, or anyone owning grazing livestock.

The local chatter is that they were shot dead.

There are a lot of folks in Texas and Oklahoma strongly invested in a white buffalo living, and a lot of folks invested in making sure that doesn't happen.

It's a religious and cultural thing. I'd bet on humans causing the death.
