I would like to see how much the original ‘Julia’ cost taxpayers compared to how much the Heritage Foundation spent on their revision.

I liked Diahann Carroll in “Julia”. ;)

Apparently the only reason the show didn’t last was because it was considered an unrealistic portrayal of an employed nurse who happened to be black.

Imagine what those who complained about then must think of her recent TV role—an extremely wealthy widow in “White Collar”. I guess a black woman as widow of a gangster-type is more believable than as widow of a Viet Nam veteran.
