11 words, Johnny.
I cut and pasted 11 words from her screech.
Tell me which of those words she did not use.
Oh, and I'm a lady (but one who was taught, like all conservative women, how to be rational).
You do as you please! I will stand against the greater evil!
what slime did I throw? I merely stated a truth known to any parent.
Yes.
I post on TBL. I am a proud newbie there.
Is it now a crime to post on another website?
Sorry, if I have a choice between discussion and following the party line, I will pick discussion every damned time.
As I just said - I ain’t in the army now, and you certainly are not worthy to fill my Top’s shoes. JR I respect immensely, but not even he gets to say where my vote goes/who I support.
I will not vote for a pro-abortion, anti-gun, big government liberal. Not even one with an R by his name.
When was the last time the GOP ran a liberal and won the general election? Romney is toast.
/johnny
I will not write someone else in. I will vote for Romney, as difficult as that will be. The more people who don’t will give all the more strength to the Democrat vote. Sorry, but I’ll not enter into a 2nd Obama term (hopefully not...) knowing I did nothing to prevent it.
You are wrong there as well! The primary is my one and only chance to send him a REAL message!
In the general I will stand against the greater evil!
Great. I'm relieved that a truce does not include voting for Romney. Pick and choose the conservative holds the most promising for the future. That said those acclaiming 'I am a conservative' sounds like "I am Spartacus'. It has become self-defining.
My own definition is 1] supporting ending Roe v Wade. 2} no long term war actions without a formal Congressional declaration of war. 3} Restore the power of our production capability to make what we import.
thx for the heads up
“I would almost bet that he will pick the anti-gun, pro-abortion, pro-queer agenda slob, Chris Christi.”
Chris Christie is pro-life.
Yeah - I mis-aimed. We call it friendly fire in the services, then go for a beer.
While I am here, you need back up, ping me.
“Take your chances, you will regret it.”
Not remotely as much as we’ll all regret it if Obama prevails.
“My view may not be popular, but I will sleep with a clear conscience.”
As will I.
I do love the military!
Palin 2016.
Interesting. That presumes there isn’t a republican running as an incumbent in 4 years.
I’m voting a straight conservative ticket, just as JimRob said to: “ it’s doubly important that we all turn out on election day or sooner and drag our friends, neighbors, relatives, co-workers, etc, to the polls to vote straight conservative for every slot on our ballots.”
But since Romney isn’t a conservative, I’ll be writing in Palin. Straight conservative up & down the ticket.
None of us is able to see the future (if one of you thinks you can, please send me the DOW openings and closings for next week - it would help me a lot!) I disagree with your assessment because I believe Obama has shown he is perfectly capable of bypassing the Congress and ignoring the law. An honorable man could be controlled by a more conservative Congress, but Obama is not an honorable man. And even an honorable President would have wide latitude in foreign affairs - that's what the Constitution anticipates.
So, respectfully, I think you underestimate Obama's ability to take away our freedoms. One of us is right ... and if Obama is re-elected, I sure as heck hope it is you!
Obama is a narcissist; he will not be affected by a weak plurality. Even if he doesn't take a majority, he won't care. As he himself has said, after the election he will have "more flexibility". He said that to one of the leaders of Russia, directly, in a public place (although he thought the mics weren't on - supposedly.) How can he make it any clearer that, if re-elected, he will do what he damn well pleases?
To quote Shakespeare's Henry V: "In cases of defence 'tis best to weigh
The enemy more mighty than he seems:"
My experience has conditioned me to assume the worst about Obama, and plan accordingly. And that means defeating him in the 2012 election. (If you all can figure out a way to impeach him before the election, that's fine with me too).
A vote for Romney as the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil.
I hate these candidates who get in the race just to muddy the waters. They willing are used to bait and switch people who are not aware of the game plays...and to cover the flanks of other candidates....making it difficult for the average voter to determine who is really running the ball and who is just setting up another player to take it for the touchdown.
In this Primary it was evident the GOP was to keep Romney from being criticized, they accomplished that, and ready to take the ball for the touch down........where people got distracted is by those candidates being used by the GOP to run the ball for a time...and the media's cooperation in framing the race accordingly.
Romney certainly didn't win because of who he is...he only had to stay on the sidelines while the party, the Obama press, and his money took each candidate out one by one.
The voter took the bait and ran with it...and we saw that right here on FR.
So the fact is we lost....it's not surrender...it's facing the reality and moving ahead to what we can do to shut them down.
Johnny,
You have said that as long as I have known you!
It’s cool bro. You can’t. Well you can’t. Close the book, end of the tale.
And anyone who thinks fear is involved for you - send em to me.
