Well said Jim.
Not time to take the ball and go home. Time to get better and stronger until we’re the ones making the rules.
Now if someone could post a “How to vote for Romney without throwing up on your ballot” it would be appreciated.
Forgive me for being dense, but what specifically does this truce entail?
Thanks,
sitetest
Roger
I’ve avoided making such predictions in future elections, but I say it with strong conviction this time: There will be no 2016 election. And it matters not who wins in 2012.
Note: Conviction still equals IMO.
Glad to see this Jim, so will a lot of anti-Obama voters here who have been dealt a crap sandwich this election with our nominees but still see another term of Obama as far worse then any other outcome.
Thank you good sir. For calling the truce, and for so much more.
May God guide our course.

Next time the Primaries come around, can we have an FR page that compares and recommends candidates in the local races?
A painful, but necessary question.
Haven’t seen your moniker here for a while. Hope all’s well with you and yours.
Stay well and stay safe. A great evil is upon us.
I’ll vote Romney no matter what. Obama MUST lose.
I also will vote for the most conservative rep. in my district and continue the pressure on Romney in 2014 by getting rid of more GOP-e candidates.
Romney will bend to pressure. Then, in 2016, we will crush him.
It wolud be nice to have four more years to stock up on ammo then...guns are on the to do list for Barry if he wins.
“Now if someone could post a How to vote for Romney without throwing up on your ballot it would be appreciated.”
LOL. It’s going to be tough But even if Romney loses chances are that 4 years from now the conservative vote will again be split and we will be left with a mooshy rino candidate.
Fractured conservative voteing is what gave us McCain, it gave us Romney. I don’t see any way to a different outcome 4 years from now.
Qu’ils mangent de la brioche
Great post Jim!
Only good will come of this!
Sound reasoning there my FRiend... We have no other choice IMHO.
We had no shining candidate. Every one of them carried baggage than made them questionable in the public’s eye,ran abysmal campaigns, or both. The one potential star decided early to sit this one out. All this combined made it easy for the Roves to control the situation.
Unless something occurs at the convention (I’m not holding my breath), we’ll have Romney for our candidate. I will vote for him. No, I take that back. I’ll not vote for Obama so I have no choice in the matter. 2012 looks to be a 2008 redux as far as my nose is concerned when I enter the polls. So be it.
Jim, right now I’m not in a position to help with the finances beyond my monthly, but I’ll see what I can do come June. I think I may be able do do something. Take care.
I urge all Freepers and their families to vote a straight Republican ticket. In the last election in Harris County, Texas (Houston) record numbers of Repbulicans did so and the result?
We took all 70 county positions for the Republicans. It was a wholesale massacre. That is how it is done.
To knock off the infighting on FR and concentrate on electing conservatives instead. I don’t know about others, but I personally cannot vote for Romney, but I will turn out and vote for every conservative on my ballot. Regardless of the outcome of the presidential race, we must build on our majorities at the local state and federal levels and we must retake the senate.
We must have conservative majorities so we can control the agenda and or impeach the usurpers no matter who wins!!
