As soon as she arrived on the Harvard campus as a member of the Law School faculty, she immediately set out to link up with any other member of the Cherokee tribe. So she immeditely initiates a hunt for any of her Cherokee brothers and sisters who have found a place in the Hallowed Halls of Havahhd.

That search apparantly went on for something like nine years before she gave up and dropped her public claim of Native American lineage from her Harvard bio.

I'd like to know this: was she successful in linking up with other Cherokees at Havahhd?

You know what would really be interesting? To find out if any members of the Cherokee Nation were at Havahhd during those nine years of Professor Warren's lonely hunt for her kin. If there were any (and I'm guessing there were several), did Professor Warren reach out to them? Did they find each other? Did Professor Warren offer them personalized help and assistance, from one member of the tribal people to another? Inquiring minds want to know.
