In some places, such as TN, you can go to court and they will send you to traffic school. There’ll still be a fine, but it won’t hit your record and cause your insurance to go up, which usually dwarfs the fine.

In Tennessee it won't hit your record period on a light camera. It is a civil fine and not a moving violation. If a cop gets you though it does go on your record. In Tennessee the officer has to witness the offense to cite you and it go on your record. To get around it they made it a civil fine. You don't pay you get turned over to a collection agency. Also by state law they can no longer cite from a camera photo for right turns. An officer witnessing such can though.

As you may know I live in our green paradise but more and more I was getting busted for rolling stops in the rural areas. I bought this XRS 9965 and that crap has come to a screeching halt. I know if they are in my neighborhood patrolling before I pass my mailbox. The revenuers can kiss my ass.
