Family utterly pissed off w me over it, but it is what it is.

I share your concerns but I stayed in the Church. You may be surprised to see many changes. Things are tightening up. Pope Benedict is serious about changing the culture of the Church. John Paul II started the reforms and Pope Benedict is pushing hard. We have a pretty conservative area but the priest is pushing the new (old) Church positions pretty hard. He is discussing elections and what it means to be a Catholic. I have joined some groups committed to changing things. I pray you consider a change of heart towards the Church. We need good conservative Catholics to reverse the misinterpretation of Vatican II.
