IIRC, all the Republican candidates, (save for Ron Paul) pledged to endorse and support the eventual nominee but the nominee is not yet certified.
So why the rush to endorsement? Party unity?
We can argue the point that Romney is inevitable until the cows come home, but a lot can happen between now and the convention, when the nomination is certified.
I remain praying for Divine Intervention. Nothing, and I mean, nothing nothing, is set in cement.
I think Newt Gingrich was right to not endorse him in his magnificent speech yesterday.
Others of good intention and good will are free to endorse him for their own reasons, and my guess they're ABO, like Newt strongly suggested.
It's entirely obvious that Romney was NOT the favorite of Sarah Palin or any of his rivals. After all, the majority of his rivals were bona fide Conservatives, but also loyal to the GOP.
We remain a two party country. Romney is the worst possible candidate for Conservatives. This election will be a time of reckoning, provided he's the eventual nominee.
Keep praying. We're months away from *that* convention. Put your trust in Him. We need God to help us save our Republic.
