I agree with your post. And voting for Romney, just lets the GOP keep thinking we are “all in” with what they are pushing. Writing in someone else, skipping the box for President, or otherwise NOT voting for Mitt, are at least options that provide feedback to the GOP that we are NOT in for Mitt.

Can someone explain to me how it is the GOP gets this feedback? Folks here apparently think that if Obama gets re-elected, the GOP (members of the establishment like Lugar) will say,

"Darn it! We should have run a more conservative candidate. That's how we could have won. We'll run a more conservative candidate in 2016."

Really? That's what the crowd thinks? Does this really make intellectual sense to any of you? We have to replace those clowns one senatorial and House of Reps election at a time, state by state, district by district. That's how it gets changed.

NOBODY WILL BE SENDING ANYBODY A MESSAGE. 80 year old politicians are not going to wake up one morning and say, "I'm going to be more conservative starting today!"
