Virgil Goode is a former Congressman from Virginia as well as the current Presidential nominee of the Constitution Party. He has lived in Virginia all his life and the family name Goode means something in the area due to he and his fathers political careers. Now Public Policy Polling has found that Goode scores 5% against Obama and Romney in Virginia, even when an Other option is included.
Another interesting angle in Virginia is the candidacy of former Congressman Virgil Goode as the Constitution Party candidate for President. We find him polling at 5% in a three way contest with Obamas lead over Romney expanding to 12 points at 50-38. It seems unlikely Goode would ultimately get 5% but anything he gets could help flip the state to Obama given how small Romneys margin for error there is. Goode gets 10% from those describing themselves as very conservative, suggesting that Romney does still have some work to do with the far right. As always, the disclaimer here is that polling numbers for third parties and independents tend to decline as we approach election day.

Great news! Lets all get behind Goode so obammy wins VA!
NO third party. Unite and vote zero out first. THEN let us work on Mittens when he’s in the WH. I say this as a Perot voter who learned her lesson the hard way.
I’ll be wasting my vote on Goode in November. Its not like Romney can win anyway so I might as well keep possession of my soul.
anyone else remember how happy we were that Green Party guy was doing so well back in 2000?
Fantastic. This Goode guy will help me like that hack from Quincy, Cahill, helped my good friend Deval. Maybe the DNC could sneak this Goode fellow some benjamins to keep him around. Well anyway, thanks for good news, and keep up the good work. You are one of our hardest workers. All the boys up in Chicago are starting to notice you. Axelrod thinks you could rise far in the organization.
Your Friend
Barack Hussein Obama.
H. Ross Perot-——>20% or the popular vote-—>0% of the Electoral Vote
George HW Bush—37% of the popular vote—>31% of the Electoral Vote
Billy Bob Blythe—>43% of the popular vote—>69% of the Electoral Vote
Your strategy is to destroy the country in order to save it.
Have learned my lesson from past election mistakes; have lived long enough to have made a bunch. Gonna vote my conscience now on and that means for Conservatives only. Other Republicans will have to get elected without me. No apologies. Not any more.
NO third party. Unite and vote zero out first.
Absolutely. Concentrate on the important task of getting zero out - it is a matter of life or death of our America. We will just kick Romney to the curb the next election if he doesn’t cut the mustard. Our endeavors will take years to accomplish - it took that long for the communists/marxists to get us where we are today. First things first - get zero and Mrs. zero out of our White House.
No agenda here...Tampa is really starting to get interesting.
Not me. I'm writing in Alan Keyes. Unlike Goode, Keyes actually has experience running against Obama and I'm sure he's compiled a thorough list of "lessons learned" from his razor-thin 2004 Senate finish.
Alan Keyes! Winning!
Just enough to give Obama Virginia...
Not had enough Hope-N-Change yet, folks?
Keyes experience in running against Obozo is getting beaten by 60% of the vote.
If true, this is not a welcome development.
"I can win without doing anything for conservatives. Therefore, why should I give a jigger what any of them think about anything? With a compliant Congress I'll be able to do whatever I want, and conservatives won't do diddly to stop me. Thanks conservatives, I luv ya bunches!"
Signed, Mitt Romney
Or, looked at another way, half of Virginia is hopey-changey, 5% are solid, level-headed conservatives, and 38% are spineless go-along-to-get-along types who don’t have the character to actually vote their consciences instead of who a political party tells them to vote for.
Anybody who claims to be voting on principle or “to save their soul” strikes me as a complete and total hypocrite.
Do you shop at stores that donate to Democrats or liberal causes?
Do you eat at establishments or liberal causes?
Do you employ the services of individuals or companies that donate to Democrats or liberal causes?
Why would any of these be any different than what you claim to be doing? You can say that you won’t vote for Romney because he isn’t ideologically pure (as idiotic as that may be). If you honestly believe that God is going to punish you for voting for Romney, then you damn well better believe that God is going to punish you for where you eat, shop, or buy your car insurance.
Then again, your boy Obama thanks you.
