And the only citizenship laws that the federal government can make are those pertaining to naturalization per Article I, Section 8, Clause 4. And this is a point that so many people simply do not comprehend. Congress has no power to change the meaning of Constitutional terms. Congress' power regarding citizenship extends ONLY to "naturalization". (Adopted Citizens.)
It is astonishing how ignorant people are in regards to the limitations of congress.
