Careful, betty, you are bringing actual experiences you had while in Mass...things you saw, heard and experienced with Romney as Governor vs the DNC machine that was there...into the discussion.

You probably have a lot more knowledge about how Romney governed than most here unless they too lived through it...perhaps like how he was really incapable of appointing conservative Judges since the DNC panel there had all the power.

You are probably aware of his attempts to veto things he is accused of “allowing” because the overwhelming DNC legislature over-rode any attmepts.

We both know that Romney was no real conservative in his governance of Mass...but he was better than the alternatives, and IMHO, he did modify and lessen what would have been even worse there. But that is my opinion...I wasn’t there.

You experienced it, so you know it better than others who prognosticate without having been there with you.

I believe you...and I know of your conservatism, and, despite our differences in some interpretations and doctrine, I know of your Christianity and love for and commitment to our Savior, Jesus Christ. After fourteen years of interaction with you, I can say I have experienced those things as we have conversed over the years. Thank you for sharing what you exprienced there while Romney was Governor.

We all wish a more conservative candidate was going to be our nomineee...but Romney is running on much diffent campaign promises now than what he did in Mass, and I believe he will keep those commitments if elected...particularly if we can pull together a majority House and Senate to lead the charge in legislation.

God bless you, sister in Christ, for your faith, for your patriotism and commmitment to our constitutional republic, for your honesty, and for the reasoned and manner in which you present it.

We can do all in our power to try and do what is right to the best of our ability in the defense of liberty and support of our constitution, which it truly an inspired document and heavenly banner...and do it all according to the dictates of our conscience...then we must stand an watch the arm of the Lord be revealed and accept His wisdom. He has the days numbered, and the hairs on each of our heads counted, and His Will shall lead to the best.

I pray, in Jesus name, that we as a people and a nation are once again extended His mercy, compassion and blessings of liberty and prosperity for our kids and grandkids sake. That they might enjoy what we have enjoyed, and even more according to His Will.

Well, that's rather strange, Jeff...If Romney was totally incapacitated from bringing forth ANY conservative judges in MA, please tell us: How did he get nine Republicans thru, then? Surely at least some of those nine Republicans were "conservative" -- were they not?

Or, are you trying to tell us ALL NINE Republican judges were NOT conservative??? That Romney was so anemic & weak as an exec Gov that he was incapacitated from even landing one conservative judge?

And if so, what does that then tell us about...
...Romney's week-kneed behind-the-scenes capacity to govern executively?
...or his penchant for picking liberal Republicans for everything right-down-the-line?

...And, are you telling us to expect this same conservative shutout pattern when he picks his VP, his Cabinet, and all derived bureaucratic lackeys under him???

An incapacitated Republican who can't handle Democrats even to bat 1 or 2-for-36 vs. the Dems...(Yeah, that's what we Republicans need in the White House... /sarc)

Jeff, if you make it to heaven based upon a true relationship with the true Christ who died for your sin nature as well as your personal sins, then you be sure to express your above sentiments to all the MA pre-borns dismembered from 2007 on via taxpayer-funded monies under RomneyCare.

(I'm sure they'll each express relief that the Bay State dismemberment rate could have been worse.)

I guess, Jeff, what I truly don't understand -- and perhaps you can enlighten us -- how it is that a Mormon like Romney...somebody who truly believes that Heavenly Father and his wife gave precious spirit-birth to a spirit-entity near Kolob...lived with them..."raised" them to some degree...sent them to earth to inhabit a body...and then that body is chopped up in some abortion mill...and Romney not only sanctions that, but ensures that citizens like Betty's tax $ has gone toward paying for that!

Betty, how does that feel -- knowing that your tax revenue has directly suction-vacuumed baby body parts out of women? [Seek link @ end for details]

Jeff, when I look @ that Lds doctrine, I'd always thought that Lds -- of all religious people -- would be as much "pro-life" as anybody...and yet your leaders allow for multiple exceptions...including if the Mormon god "tells" you to abort via prayer.

So, not only is Romney's track record horrific on this, but I don't think I can begin to express my disappointment when presumed pro-lifers like yourself make statements such as the one above...without realizing how that comes across re: the taxpayer-funded body count forever accumulating in MA.

Jeff, Betty, all, please review this: RomneyCare Now Funding FREE Abortions: A Disqualifier for Mitt Romney’s Candidacy [Enabler Mitt]

Jeff, I've got this available land on a planet near Kolob. Good commuter territory. (Interested?)

Seriously, for a moment...

I'd like for you to explain how this statement that Mitt told Katie Couric, December 2007 -- about a year into his "pro-life" campaign from the previous run -- is "different" from how he governed in MA???

Couric: So what kind of embryos - embryos that are created for procreation and then would be discarded? Are those the ones that you feel are perfectly fine from which to cull cells for stem cell research?

Romney: Yes, those embryos that are referred to commonly as surplus embryos from in-vitro fertilization. Those embryos, I hope, could be available for adoption for people who would like to adopt embryos. But if a PARENT decides they would want to DONATE ONE OF THOSE EMBRYOS FOR PURPOSES of RESEARCH, in my view, that's acceptable."

Source: Candidates Reveal Their Biggest Mistakes.

Any of you "parents" want to "donate" one of your offspring that the Creator has provided to you for "research" purposes? Mitt the supposed "pro-lifer" is "A-OK" with that morally and otherwise.

And then Mitt takes us for being stupid, insulting our intelligence, that we somehow won't notice this gaping discrepancy between what he says to the MSM and what he tells gullible GOPers, pro-life independents & Dems???

I guess Obama should start telling us as he is just as "pro-life" as Romney is -- and we should as gullible "conservatives" just take that nonsense at face value as well, eh???

Well, wait a minute...Obama probably is as "pro-life" as Mitt Romney is!!!!

At least that link in my last post gives us a good indicator there!
