One of the strongest Christian witnesses to me when I was Mormons was my (now husband) friend who told me he could no longer be friends with me becuase it hurt him too much to know I was headed for Hell. While it hurt then, it stuck with me and eventually, when I was ready to leave Mormonism, he was an influence in leading me to the Lord. That may seem ‘unloving’ to some, but his being honest and brutally truthful was the most loving thing he could do.
Spot on! We can lead others away from eternal death to eternal life with God after our human death. Jesus Christ show us this immortality, which is for all man to receive because of Christ’s perfect sacrifice. Our human sins are forgiven and we will inherit God’s gift of salvation. It is not a myth, it is as real as my thumb. Thumbs up my FRiend!
Your friend sounds like a real jerk. It’s attitudes like his that give holy rollers a bad name. If one of my daughter’s boy friends did that to them, I would hope they would have enough respect for themselves to tell the creep to go F himself. By the way, I’m no Mormon. Never met a Mormon. Probably no Mormons withing 30 miles of me.
I will weep for you.
Pray too, when I get around to it. Geez.
