Undaunted by a GOP primary that is effectively over, Rep. Ron Pauls supporters are now working to take over state Republican parties and delegations to the Republican National Convention this summer.
This weekend, Mr. Pauls backers effectively captured the Alaska GOP, won the Louisiana caucuses and beat out delegates picked by Mitt Romney in Massachusetts, the presumptive nominees home state.

I am now thinking of using my vote here in Texas for the primary on Ron Paul...it was Newt's but he dropped...maybe send the establishment a little message that I am not happy with the way the GOP nomination process works and how drawn out it is so that only a controllable few select the candidate and the majority of states have no say.
Throwing away your vote to "send a message" is like
using harsh language to "send a message" to stop a rapist.
I hope it makes you feel better but you really accomplish nothing.
Thanks for the article, it’s certainly interesting!
So Paulbot are going to circumvent the popular vote to “take over” the states.
If Paul can’t make it in the primaries with actual votes, why on earth do his supporters think he could beat BHO.
Why would conservatives vote for a liberal libertarian, who can’t even win his party’s nomination.
Why doesn’t Paul go home and play his grand-kids?
Primary is different that November...
Will NOT waste vote then...for primary though giving it to Paul is really no different that giving it to anyone else on the ballot other than Mitt.
Here’s wishing Ron Paul the best in making Mitt work for his nomination. Last man standing against the establishment tide...kudos to him for at least that.
Louisiana appears to be the first of the states the Paulistinians claim to have pulled this off where I can actually find evidence that it is not just the pipe speaking. The way things are going this year, I would no longer be surprised if they managed to replace a guaranteed loser with one who would do worse.
Agreed...Paul has been very distant from the winner in almost every contest.
That is what puzzles me with the nationwide poll showing him only 2 points behind Obama but whopping 30+ points behind Mitt for nomination...interesting is all
I can’t seem to find the internals for the polls I referenced above...so not sure what is going on...
I thought I saw a poll recently where RP polled better than Obama? I don’t think it was on Free Republic, but I could be wrong...
Yeah...not sure if this is even a permissible topic here on FR...LOL
I think everyone assumed...and rightly so...that he was too fringe...
but I thought the same thing with Romney (a different fringe element)...but here we are stuck with him as the presumptive nominee
Yes, I don’t know what is permitted to be said/discussed regarding this candidate so I won’t much except I have posted some related articles in the past and were not banned for them, but that was a few months ago.

TY I knew I read it somewhere recently!!
I don't know about the other States, but this one may be short lived. Their supporters were caught passing out fraudulent voter guides in Louisiana that had the wrong supporters listed in the wrong slates. They actually had Romney and Newt listed on Paul's slates so people who thought they were voting for either of them were actually voting for Paul's slate. From what I understand, the State party is looking into this and may throw out some of Paul's slate.

Send a message to the establishment by voting for a 30+ year career politician who is as much of a RINO (especially on Article 1, Section 9 issues) as Romney? LOL
Partly because Paul is a liberal libertarian, and not a Republican, and I am sure its buried in the internals how the questions where asked.
That is a link to a Ron Paul site, if you follow the links to the actual report will show me where the article says what the Paul site says it says?
