Do you think Obama would be any less relentless and dirty against a "true conservative" such as, say, Newt Gingrich?

I see you overlooked my comment that "Regardless of the pandering of SOME religious leaders, there are many Evangelicals who will refuse to pull the lever for him. The demonization by Mitt of the other Republican candidates will come back to bite him in the butt."

I, for one will remember his attacks on Perry, Rick and Newt when I enter the voting booth and I believe that many will see attacks by Obama on Mitt as "what goes around, comes around."

I understand your points re Romney's liabilities and agree with them, but my point that Obama would have waged a no-hold-barred, relentless, dirty, and dishonest campaign against any "real conservative" still stands.I favored Newt but as we all know, Newt has baggage that Obama would have made full use of.It would not have swayed conservatives, but with women and independents?
