I am working on Twitter at reminding some of the reporters how nicely the Bush administration treated them. Also I remind them that they are in the same country as the rest of us, and that their children are also going to suffer.
Probably won’t work on most of them, but I think a few might be having second thoughts.
That is a great idea MM. Thanks for that effort. We have to try everything, and keep summoning all those who can make a difference (e.g. media, “ordinary” folks, office holders) back over to the good side. We should not just cede them to the dark side and make our task that much more formidible. I do not think our nominee really wants to take on a monolithic media and unified left. Maybe Newt would welcome such a challenge. But Dole and McCain certainly withered in the spotlight, having reduced their life’s ambition to attaining the nomination because it was “their turn”.
Yes, they need a reality check.
