None of Beck’s predictions panned out.........
Beck admits his predictions come true, but his timing is usually off a bit. Take what he says seriously. Beck is one of Paul Revere’s riders, no doubt about it. He’s the one on the white horse.
Glenn is very much influenced by Cleon Skousen.
Every great nation dies eventually. Some go overnight, like the Babylonians, and some go through a long sigh, like Rome.
God’s in charge. Isa. 40.
Many up-and-coming dictators have managed to oppress the population in just a few short years. Keeping our currency under communism is not so comforting.
I think the US, and perhaps other Western nations as well are done. We have too many countervailing cultures, many diametrically (and violently) opposed to each other to continue on in our current configuration.
How can you have peace and prosperity under such Tower of Babel conditions?
Glenn Beck may not be right on all his predictions but he is not afraid to call the adversary, the adversary. He inspires vigilance instead of Dancing With The Stars stupor and apathy.
Frankly, the truly engaged and thoughtful do not need Glenn Beck to reaffirm their suspicions as to our eventual fate. It is helpful to have a national voice to rouse those who are sleeping.
This is the 21st century, things happen in light-speed today. Yes, our “overseers” want a slow managed decline but that would preclude black swans like natural disasters. There is also another war looming which could be just a bunch of angry bullies with pop-guns or it could turn out much, much worse.
I’m voting for a quicker decline in the next 6 months with a strong possibility of another ME blow up. I expect Obummer to be re-elected by hook or by crook. If (when?) Obamma is re-elected I expect full-on muslim/communism with accompanying oppression.
sorry for being a bummer
I don’t agree with everything Beck says...but he has been more right than wrong over the last 4 years. I could list a long list of things he uncovered and exposed and said was coming and it did.
One very small point: When comparing the USA in the 21st century with Rome in the 4th, it would do to consider that in Roman times one could communicate no faster than one could travel physically. To convey a message or transfer wealth to the far side of the empire could take months. Today, the same feats may be accomplished in seconds from an office computer or cell phone. Similarly, coins do not have to be minted with a lower silver content to debase the currency. It can be done almost instantly.
What took the Romans nearly five hundred years to accomplish can happen almost overnight today.
If there are folks 'writing' Hisotry books of anyhonesty in the future, say a hundred years from today, then it is the astonishing collapse and dissolution of America that will be the modern archetypal example cited. Bowyer is either a fool, or he is working to keep the populace bound in their somnabulence.
Dont kid yourself. Be prepared no matter what. Rome didn’t have satellite dependency, electricity dependency, oil dependency, digital money, digital voting, EPA, wmd’s, emp’s, suitcase nukes, weaponized viruses, muslim jihadists, Nancy pelosi, spook presidents, fake mass media etc etc.
Rome could have collapsed in one second if the barbarians had nuclear weapons.
So what Jesus was saying is that I owe taxes to George Washington, Andrew Jacskon, and Thomas Jefferson. Right?
The Roman coinage went up occasionally. Emperor Domitian debased it more than usual, then complained that prices were raised to compensate. Emperor Jovian (the last pagan emperor) issued a new coin with more silver, and the empire responded wonderfully. A friend of mine reminded me that the world grades on a curve. We don’t have to have a perfect money, but just better than the alternatives. We have a chance to take over the world again, through an orgasm of good government. I look forward to a growth moment like the US post reconstruction and before Teddy Roosevelt.
