Christian believers in the Soviet Union were constantly ridiculed and harassed in schools and in the army. When her father was 19 he was in the Soviet army and because of his faith, they made him stand out in a snow storm naked. Finally the couple decided to come to America where they could be Christian without harassment.

I hate to think we're moving in the direction of the old Soviet Union, but it does seem that way. Your story speaks of great pain, humiliation and courage. I pray we never get as bad as they were... that our people don't have to suffer as they suffered. Thanks for sharing.

Reagan said that this is the last bastion of freedom on the earth and that if we lose it, no one will have any place to escape to. Let’s hope some patriots step up to save the union and our culture.
