A bit? Romney gave the liberal Democrats in Massachusetts just about everything they wanted. It wasn't like Romney was dragged kicking and screaming - he was generally leading the parade.

Because Romney's political philosophy has always been toward big government solutions and saving the bacon of his fat-cat buddies on Wall Street. Is there a major political issue on which Romney has taken a position substantially different position than Obama?

In Mitt Romney's case, he couldn't see the good part of the political spectrum if he stood in tower with a telescope. But he could have a conversation with Barak Obama without having to shout.
I would rather have Mitt Romney stinking up the White House than Obama stinking up the White House. We can influence Romney and pull him rightward if we get a good Senate and House of Representatives. We have no influence over Obama and never will
