HA-HA, trying to get software engineers to work on legacy systems with older operating systems is one hell of a challenge. Many would rather wait on unemployment than put CRAP on their resume.
Imagine the last buggy-whip designer or the last Beta VCR expert.

Guys like me that have legacy experience also have a lot of knowledge on database design and what works (in the real world) and what doesn't.
I also have some training in some of the newer stuff but there is nothing like a 24/7 Unix based operation pumping millions of transactions flawlessly....lol
