Everyone please send whatever you are able to, whether it is $10, $100 or $1,000+. The DUmmies, Morons, Kos Kiddies and that crew are laughing up their sleeves. Jim may have to make this site members only or allow ads. Better for us to just help with what we can. Maybe you can donate as a memorial for a lost loved one, a servicemember who never made it home or was disabled defending our country. Perhaps you'd like to give to keep free discussion alive and to show them that we're not knuckling under. I'm sure a well thought out or prayerful meditation will lead you to see the need and how you can help. If every registered FReeper and our lurkers would each just help out with a fin or a sawbuck, or better yet a Ben Franklin, we could put this to bed and get on with the conservative cause.

wow, i haven’t been on this site in a while and the amount of back-and-forth anger among members is pretty intense.
Maybe FR needs to change their policy that comments directly at other members are not allowed and will be pulled. Maybe that will result in a deeper discussion of conservative values and interests.
For example: Remove comments submitted in the first person like “You think i’m a nazi?”...or “You are nothing but a complete (fill in blank).
I’d rather see discussions about developing a list of talking points on all the items that should preclude Obama from being re-elected rather personal attacks.
Dengar, I would give things time to settle out a bit, I think we all should. Nerves are always the rawest right after a hard-fought primary. Let's see what happens. I don't think you would get zotted for taking a position of party unity and making that case, I will continue to disagree for now, but we can do that as fair debate.
We all suffered this horrendous primary, as I told onyx in FReepmail I was threatened by a mod on primary night in IL when I was complaining, well more venting, about Romney winning Illinois and how once ago my vote is ignored.
The fire should be over. If JoeProBono is in the upper echelon leadership, I really, really am disappointed that someone in that authority will not reply with rhetoric but reply with offensive pictures.
Now if he was attacking a Ron Paul nut job, or a troll like that drunk crackhead saying something how the right wing and Ron Paul caused 9/11, I say mock away, but don't mock FReepers from 1997 with pictures.

Jim......I do believe ,considering the times we are in, it is important that FR ‘strengthens’ it’s position. I believe you are trying to do just that, and with it there will be some who will leave, but you will also gain others in due time, I have no doubt of this.
Thank you for maintaining your positions thus far. As for Freedom to express oneself people are complaining about...I want the Freedom on A ‘Conservative site’ to bash Romney all I want without being told I’m ‘a traitor’ for not voting for Romney....or having to scroll by those promoting him here.

This is what I was referring to in my FReepmail... This post has nothing to do with Romney or Rove or RINOS. It is a person who likes to personally attack others because he is hiding behind a computer thinking he can do what he wants. And humblegunner I'm not a kid, and I believe the folks I pinged can kindly tell you that.
This JR is the primary reason people are leaving Free Republic. This FReeper is one of MANY!!! Maybe they have miserable lives outside of Free Republic and their only joy in life is to mock others hidden behind a computer. But if this person made this post even 5 years ago, the mods would have escorted him off.
