Everyone please send whatever you are able to, whether it is $10, $100 or $1,000+. The DUmmies, Morons, Kos Kiddies and that crew are laughing up their sleeves. Jim may have to make this site members only or allow ads. Better for us to just help with what we can. Maybe you can donate as a memorial for a lost loved one, a servicemember who never made it home or was disabled defending our country. Perhaps you'd like to give to keep free discussion alive and to show them that we're not knuckling under. I'm sure a well thought out or prayerful meditation will lead you to see the need and how you can help. If every registered FReeper and our lurkers would each just help out with a fin or a sawbuck, or better yet a Ben Franklin, we could put this to bed and get on with the conservative cause.

This is a biased site. Advocating for someone with an anti-Conservative record like Gov. Romney’s is not allowed here. But to answer your question, yes. Free discussion is allowed here. If you want to point out the advantages of Conservatism and the errors and destruction of liberal progressivism, have at it, and welcome. But please do not pretend for a moment that Romney is a conservative, for he is not. He IS Obama lite as Jim has pointed out countless times with references to his voting and governing records, and YouTube videos of the socialism spewing out of his own mouth, which he later denies having said, but there it is for all the world to see. Why don’t you see it?
The candidacy of Gov. Romney is what Conservatives get for caving to the leftist GOPE all these years with their leftist candidates. Squishy centrists always lose to the real leftists, and strong Conservatives always win.
So, who do they field? Dole? GH Bush? McCain? And now Romney? Designated losers, all. McCain even admitted it in so many words, “You have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency.” And he allowed his advisers to destroy Gov. Palin, who was in the process of saving his campaign when all the made-up “dirt” came out about her. Republicans under the GOPE lose the presidency, and all goes back to business as usual in Washington, where the Republican and Democrat elites have their little soirees and hobnob and rub elbows with their leftist cohorts in the big Washington Power Cabal.
It’s disgusting, and we must stop it before it destroys us. See? That is why we are so passionate about this issue.
I hate to say this but this is true. There were many people here since 1998 who fought side by side who've been thrown off or simply shredded to pieces by certain members who allowed to run without a leash even on who attacked me and is a Sarah Palin hater.
When I stated there were people promoting voting for Obama, and even one of the most known FReepers on this site who is close with the leadership told me privately they knew this was true and nothing would be done about it.
I decided to call these people out only to be viciously slandered. I even provided proof. They tried to completely distort the statement.
I'm going to leave it at that. Instead of banning folks who donated for the last ten years, maybe they should go after the thugs who use threats of zotting to scare FReepers off the site...

Even more than the “zots”, I think the above group accounts for the greatest percentage of those who might have otherwise donated but who now don’t.
What is so wrong with FR taking a principled stand against the republican party moving even more to the left? I haven’t decided yet how I’ll vote, but it seems pretty short sighted to me to think only about the next four years and not the ramifications of this party putting up someone so contrary to core conservative values. He’s not the devil incarnate, but he’s not conservative.
How about building a conservative gameplan that looks more than 6 months ahead. We should be looking 6 years ahead, building the party we need - rather than accepting the one the establishment wants. Jmho.

And, it seems, no support for Ron Paul or Rick Perry, and nothing but fawning admiration for St. Sarah. Yeah, that is a bit hard to accept.
