Everyone please send whatever you are able to, whether it is $10, $100 or $1,000+. The DUmmies, Morons, Kos Kiddies and that crew are laughing up their sleeves. Jim may have to make this site members only or allow ads. Better for us to just help with what we can. Maybe you can donate as a memorial for a lost loved one, a servicemember who never made it home or was disabled defending our country. Perhaps you'd like to give to keep free discussion alive and to show them that we're not knuckling under. I'm sure a well thought out or prayerful meditation will lead you to see the need and how you can help. If every registered FReeper and our lurkers would each just help out with a fin or a sawbuck, or better yet a Ben Franklin, we could put this to bed and get on with the conservative cause.

My own point about those posts would be
HEALTHY ORGANIZATIONS HANDLE SUCH FEEDBACK GRACIOUSLY AND CONSTRUCTIVELY. They take whatever %% of truth out of them and grow from the input.
Unhealthy organizations shoot the messenger.
That’s just a fact that any Organizational Development PhD would tell you is true of all types of organizations.
I’m not here to defend Romney but i do live in MA and I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that Romney had NOTHING to do with gay marriage in MA. It was implemented by the courts over his objections. PERIOD.

Romney did not vote for President Reagan he would not even register republican and was from a famously liberal republican family, he bragged that his mother ran as a pro-abortion Senate candidate, his father was the anti-war presidential candidate in 1968. Romney eventually started devoting all of his donations and fund raising solely to Democrat candidates, and voted for Tsongas in 1992. Following that time, even after he RE-REGISTERED REPUBLICAN TO ENTER MASSACHUSETTS POLITICS Romney campaigned as the anti-Reagan, the anti-’Jesse Helms types’, against the Contract with America, and was fund raising for Planned Parenthood. Romney was rabidly pro-gay, and antigun.
Romney is a dedicated lifelong, anti-conservative, he and his anti-war, presidential candidate father stormed off the convention floor at the 1964 Republican convention IN PROTEST AGAINST GOLDWATER’S NOMINATION. For years Romney was one of America’s most vocal, passionately pro-abortion politicians, explaining that his entire family had become dedicatedly pro-abortion in 1963.
Changing or massaging an issue or two is totally different than at age 59 in preparation to run in a different election, suddenly reversing ALL of your lifelong political positions, try to imagine any politician pulling off that trick or being in a position to need to do it to run to LEAD his chosen party.
You mean Captain Reagan who by the second half of the 1940s was already starting to be seen as a communist fighting conservative, testifying to Congress and naming names, working with the FBI, having to carry a gun for self defense from the left, Reagan?
The Reagan after 1948 was campaigning for Republicans like Eisenhower, who he campaigned for in 1952 and again in 1956, and then campaigned for Nixon against JFK in 1960, already having earned a reputation as an active speaker for conservatism for years?
The Reagan who formally registered Republican in 1962 and spoke at the Goldwater convention in 1964? The one that Mitt and his father stormed out of in formal protest against conservatism?
Reagan was famous for his conservatism before the Vietnam War, and the Great Society, Roe V Wade, the abortion wars, Jimmy Carter, decades of Cold War defeats, and the radical 1960s, before the Reagan Revolution and the Contract with America, and Clinton, and the Gore election of 2000, Mitt Romney would not even register Republican during the Reagan Presidency or vote for him. Romney, at almost age 60, had a stroke (or something) and suddenly, unexplainedly, became a totally different person around 2006, merely to run for national office.
Reagan and Romney have nothing in common.

Actually contribution are pretty much on for 45 days. FR usually will raise $65,000 to 70 thousand in about 30 days with no sweat, and the last $25 thousand to 90+ grand will take 15 days. The last one took a little longer but was still successful at raising the operating funds.
And, if anyone needs to be zotted, it’s the ‘I’m god-like’-mods who have let power go to their inflated heads and zot fingers.
SOMETIMES it SEEMS like their greatest claim to glory and their greatest pride is convincing themselves that they’ve successfully played Jim like a piano against the FREEPERS they personally despise for mysterious reasons.

There are some good mods and some bad ones, one in particular needs to be kicked to the curb and I think most know who that is.
You say, “Wrong” and then you hedge on everything I suggested in terms of those who have posted things contrary to true Conservatism. Romney-ites are not conservative. Paul-bots are Libertarian, not conservative. Just because you haven’t seen the posts doesn’t mean that those challenges haven’t been all over Free Republic for months on end. Most have been zotted, but for you to say they never existed is just plain fallacy. If you’ve been around here you would have seen them. If a tree falls in a forest and no one is there, did it fall? Errrrr. yes!

Personally, I’d be happy for you and your extended family to get filthy rich off of FR for all the good it has done so many of us and the Republic.
You may know I’ve said that from my first months on FR, if you remember.
HOWEVER, I think the degree of balanced humble candor and transparency as so well demonstrated in your above response, would help a lot to be increased significantly.
I don’t think your post will be deleted. At least I hope not. This is the best example I have seen of the intelligence of Romney’s duplicitous supporters. You’ve been here since 2005 and now because Jim Robinson won’t allow you to pimp your socialist on a conservative website, you get the vapors. Talk about hypocritical.
I pray that you never have to experience what it is like to have someone come into your home and do exactly what you have done here. It is truly fatuous behavior, but that is to be expected from Romney’s acolytes.
I hope you don’t get the zot, but after making such a fool of yourself, I don’t expect to see you post here again. Perhaps you should take your special love of socialism and, the everyone on this site who agrees with Jim must be brainwashed or paid, opinion with you when you go.
I receive no monetary benefit from Jim, I contribute. But like everyone here, even you, I receive the benefit of being able to express my conservative beliefs.
